Sawdust Art Festival

The Laguna Beach Sawdust Art Festival features the work of hundreds of local artists.

The Sawdust Art Festival is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public and promoting the art created in Laguna Beach. Since its inception, the Sawdust Art Festival has celebrated and supported the work of local artists.

When is The 2024 Sawdust Art Festival?

With two main events annually – the Sawdust Art Festival (June 28 – September 1, 2024), and the Annual Winter Fantasy Festival (weekends from mid-November through mid-December), the organization is designed to both entertain and educate Laguna locals and visitors alike. Sawdust Art Classes also offer classes and workshops year round, from summer to winter, on-site and off-site!

What is the festival like?

For nine weeks throughout the summer months, the Sawdust Art Festival draws more than 200,000 visitors worldwide each year, invited to shop along sawdust-covered paths through a handcrafted village of fine arts and superb craftsmanship. Visitors come to enjoy unique artwork, live entertainment on three stages, eye-catching artist demonstrations, hands-on art workshops for all ages, and delicious food and drink.

How many artists will be featured?

Sawdust Art Festival features more than 180 new and returning Laguna Beach artists who exhibit and sell their original art and handcrafted items in an enchanting outdoor eucalyptus-lined setting in Laguna Canyon. All artists that exhibit during the summer festival are Laguna Beach residents, making the Sawdust a one-of-a-kind experience.

Laguna Beach locals receive free admission every Monday and Thursday after 3pm. With valid ID.

Passport to The Arts

Purchase a Passport to the Arts for only $29 and receive one-time entry to Sawdust Art Festival, Festival of Arts and Laguna Art-A-Fair. Passports also include a one-time free parking pass at the Act V parking lot as well as exclusive discounts to other art organizations in town.
