Sawdust Art & Craft Festival

The Laguna Beach Sawdust Art & Craft Festival runs from June through September and The Winter Fantasy runs through November and December. Both and feature the work of hundreds of local artists.

The Sawdust Art & Craft Festival is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public and promoting the art created in Laguna Beach. Since its inception, the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival has celebrated and supported the work of local artists.

When is The 2020 Sawdust Arts & Craft Festival?

With two main events annually - the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival (June 26 - August 30, 2020), and the Annual Winter Fantasy Festival (weekends from mid-November through mid-December), the organization is designed to both entertain and educate Laguna locals and visitors alike. Sawdust Art Classes also offer classes and workshops year round, from summer to winter, on-site and off-site!

What is the festival like?

For nine weeks throughout the summer months, the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival draws more than 200,000 visitors worldwide each year, invited to shop along sawdust-covered paths through a handcrafted village of fine arts and superb craftsmanship. Visitors come to enjoy unique artwork, live entertainment on three stages, eye-catching artist demonstrations, hands-on art workshops for all ages, and delicious food and drink.

How many artists will be featured?

Currently celebrating its 51st year, Sawdust Art & Craft Festival features more than 200 new and returning Laguna Beach artists who exhibit and sell their original art and handcrafted items in an enchanting outdoor eucalyptus-lined setting in Laguna Canyon.  All artists that exhibit during the summer festival are Laguna Beach residents, making the Sawdust a one-of-a-kind experience.

Purchase a Passport to the Arts for only $29 and receive unlimited admission all summer long to Sawdust Art Festival, Festival of Arts and Laguna Art-A-Fair. Passports also include a one-time free parking pass at the Act V parking lot as well as merchant discounts to restaurants, retailers and attractions.

Laguna Beach Residents FREE Admission

Laguna Beach residents receive FREE admission with ID Thursday evenings (after 5:00pm) and the first Friday of each month (all day).

Orange County Resident Nights FREE Admission

Residents can enjoy free admission from 5pm until 10pm on selected evenings with a valid ID. Use the information below to find out when you can visit the festival for free.
