Two-time Grammy-winning guitarist Rick Holmstrom is widely respected as one of the finest players in modern blues. For more than two decades he has served as bandleader for gospel, soul, and civil rights icon Mavis Staples, performing alongside artists such as Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Los Lobos, and Norah Jones. Holmstrom has also played and recorded with legends including Jimmy Rogers, Billy Boy Arnold, Booker T. Jones, Jody Williams, and R.L. Burnside.
Praised for combining technical mastery, traditional feel, originality, and adventurous spirit, Holmstrom brings a sound that is rooted in the blues yet always fresh and inspired.
Joining him is award-winning blues singer, harmonica master, and bandleader RJ Mischo, an internationally acclaimed artist with more than thirty years of touring experience. Known for his high-energy performances, Mischo blends originals with rare gems, delivering boogies, shuffles, and electrifying Chicago blues with authority and soul.
