Dog Friendly Dining

These days, our dogs are considered part of the family, and Laguna Beach wants your pup to feel right at home.

From rolling around in the soft sand to kicking up water while wading in the ocean, Laguna Beach is a great spot for those who can’t imagine spending time without their cuddly companions. Additionally, many of our restaurants welcome dogs, and some even have special menus for your four-legged friends.

For more upscale establishments, its always best to call ahead to ensure that they can accommodate your dog during the busier seasons, such as summer. Beyond dining, there are plenty of dog friendly activities in Laguna Beach, just remember that all dogs must always be on a leash that is 6’ or shorter. And for out of town visitors, we even have pet-friendly hotels to choose from for your stay.

California law allows persons with disabilities to bring trained service dogs and psychiatric service dogs, but not emotional support animals, to all public places. Several different California laws set out the rights of people with disabilities who use animals to assist them. These laws include the Unruh Civil Rights Act, the California Disabled Persons Act (CDPA), and the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). (Federal disability rights laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), also protect the rights of people who use service dogs and emotional support animals. When federal and state law differ, whichever one offers greater protection will generally apply.)
