Our Art-A-Fair History
2025 is the 59th anniversary of Laguna Beach’s Art-A-Fair, a one-of-a-kind event where visitors have the opportunity to see an astounding collection of unique works from 112 different artists; though this now-renowned fair has quite humble beginnings. The Art-A-Fair was a hit upon opening in 1966, when the participating artists hung their paintings on fences at Glenneyre & Park Avenue for the public to see. The “Fair” relocated 3 times before it landed at its present location at 777 Laguna Canyon Road in 1988, but the heart of this experience remained the same regardless of its setting or crowd.
The Modern Fair
Nowadays, the fair, in its prime location, is home to a variety of art, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, woodwork, photography, and a series of mixed media. To complete this experience, there is always live music, dancing, exclusive artist-led workshops, unique food, and a full bar not only on the festival grounds, but also an array of breweries and wineries right outside their gates. Being situated right next to the esteemed Sawdust Festival and Pageant of the Masters, this area makes for the perfect day of strolling and art watching! For those interested in experiencing the whole scene, a Passport to the Arts can be purchased to allow them entry into all of these unique Laguna attractions!
New this year, the Art-A-Fair is showcasing a student-focused art exhibit spotlighting over 100 incredible works from young artists across Orange County. This segment, hosted by the Laguna Art International Foundation in partnership with Laguna Art-A-Fair, is the first of its kind! This exclusive exhibit runs from June 27 to August 30, 2025, in its own dedicated booth, which includes live music, free ice cream socials, and much more!

Unleash Your Inner Artist
Fair-goers can sign up for artist-led workshops to nurture their creative side and explore new artistic horizons! Each student will receive a SEASON PASS to Art-A-Fair for each workshop they attend, which the instructors will have for them when they arrive at class! There are 27 different workshops to choose from, with a total of 86 dates on which to take them! Each session will be around 4 hours long, going from 10:15 am to 2:45 pm unless otherwise specified by the instructor, and are open to anyone 16 years or older without supervision, or anyone 12 to 15 with an adult. All the materials needed for a lesson will be provided, so the only thing any aspiring artists have to do is show up ready to learn!
