Blurb from Skyhorse: “Apology gives us the authority to determine our own future, free of the fear, resentment and guilt we feel from broken relationships. It makes us people of our word, people who can be trusted, people who are ready for real love.”
In The Glory of Groveling, authors Feddy and Waldman deliver a refreshingly honest, surprisingly practical and often humorous guide to personal liberation through the art of apology and forgiveness. With their signature blend of insight and irreverence, they offer a six-and-a-half step program designed to help readers drop their pride, own their mistakes and find emotional freedom.

This is not your average self-help book. Feddy and Waldman take aim at the ego’s favorite defense mechanisms – deflection, denial, blame – and replace them with simple, actionable tools to repair relationships and release resentment. Whether you’re navigating a rocky marriage, tense work dynamic or the silent guilt of past missteps, The Glory of Groveling invites you to rethink strength, rediscover humility and learn the surprising joy of making things right.
With real-life stories, accessible exercises, and just the right amount of sass, this book is a must-read for anyone ready to trade defensiveness for connection and bitterness for peace.”
Feddy explained his inspiration for this book and why he collaborated with Michael as co-author.
“The short version of my story is that I caused years of nonsense, from confusion to outright chaos in the lives of loved ones, employers, collaborators and myself,” said Feddy.
“I’ve been sober now, in a 12-Step program for many years. A particular step, the ninth, became and remains for me a personal passion. This is the one in which, ‘We made amends to our fellows except when to do so would injure them or others.’ As this process had been so transformational for me, I saw no reason why it wouldn’t transfer to anyone who would find it of ample interest to take it for a spin.”
