Heading to Los Angeles or San Diego? The closest Amtrak stop to Laguna Beach is in San Juan Capistrano, and it’s easy to get there by bus, taxi or rideshare.

If you are planning a trip to Los Angeles or San Diego, you can take an OC Bus to the San Juan Capistrano Amtrak Station. Fares are $2 per ride, and contactless payments are capped at $5 a day. The trip may take up to 1.5 hours. Taxis and rideshares are quicker, about 20–35 minutes depending on traffic.
