Orange County Public Transportation

The Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) is a great option of transportation if you are planning on traveling outside of Laguna Beach.

If you are planning a trip to Los Angeles or San Diego, you can take the OCTA bus to the San Juan Capistrano Amtrak Station for about $4 per person, however this may take up to 1.5 hours.  Taxis are a quicker mode of transportation to the train station, with an estimated cost of $35-$40 based on mileage; this ride should take 20-35 minutes depending upon traffic.

The Pacific Surfliner travels along the coast from San Luis Obispo down to San Diego. You can view the 2018 schedule here. For assistance with schedules and purchasing tickets, call Amtrak at 1-800-872-7245.
