Internationally recognized as one of today’s foremost boogie woogie and traditional blues pianists, Carl Sonny Leyland has spent more than four decades performing, recording, and carrying forward the rich traditions of American music. Throughout his career he has shared stages with legendary artists including Chuck Berry, Bill Haley’s Comets, Lowell Fulson, and Jerry McCain, earning a reputation as one of the most respected performers in the roots music world. Joining him is acclaimed guitarist Tommy Harkenrider, one of Southern California’s most respected roots musicians. Known for his exceptional musicianship and deep understanding of traditional blues, Tommy has performed alongside renowned artists including James Harman, Candye Kane, Junior Watson, Kid Ramos, Lynwood Slim, and many others who helped shape the West Coast blues tradition. Together, Leyland and Harkenrider create a dynamic and unforgettable live performance that celebrates the music at the heart of America’s cultural heritage.
