The Festival of Arts presents Friends of the Festival: Selections from the Dan Dutton Collection, an exhibit at foaSOUTH that celebrates the power of friendship and community within its creative landscape. The exhibition honors the legacy of Dan Dutton, a longtime supporter and former fine art sales booth manager who spent over forty years involved with the Festival. Over the decades, Dutton cultivated lifelong friendships with Festival artists and staff, curating a deeply personal collection of artwork. This exhibition presents a curated selection of works acquired from his estate, featuring pieces from twenty-six Festival artists and reflecting the goodwill and shared creative spirit that defined Dutton’s connection to the organization.
