Painterly: Under the [Palette] Knife

Painterly: Under the [Palette] Knife

July 23, 2024 (11:00 am – 1:00 pm)

Join us for a 2-hour hands-on painting workshop exploring impasto—also known as palette knife painting—with an au courant approach. During this Painterly class, we’ll guide you through the technique of painting with broad, flat strokes and layers to form a larger composition—either concrete or abstract—depending on your personal preferences.
WHERE HAVE I SEEN IMPASTO BEFORE? | Impasto techniques can be found in the works of Rembrandt, Goya, Van Gogh, Courbet, Cezanne, Chagall + Matisse.
