Two Consecutive Wednesdays: February 12 and 19, 2025 from 1:30 – 4:30pm
Join Mary and explore a whole new way of watercolor painting with metallic and regular watercolor paints and gouache on black watercolor paper. Learn how to gradually build the opacity of your colors to create vibrant, luminous images that contrast dramatically from their background.
On the first Wednesday we will paint the hummingbird and on the second the butterfly. Please note, we will start a little bit later than we usually do.
Teacher: Mary Gulino
Fee: $50 for two classes (Feb. 12 & 19, 2025 from 1:30-4:30pm). $100 for non-members
This is a two-part class held on two consecutive Wednesdays in the Susi Q art room of the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q Senior Center and is sponsored by a grant from the Festival of Art Foundation.
