Eric Henderson’s Summer Concert Series Featuring His Quartet, Malaga

This summer, world-renowned guitar virtuoso Eric Henderson—one of only three musicians ever personally invited to study with the legendary Andrés Segovia—returns to the stage for a transcendent night of music at the Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center.
The evening begins with Henderson performing solo, offering masterful renditions of classical standards alongside his evocative original compositions, including instrumental gems and cinematic pieces inspired by the spirit of spaghetti westerns. Then, he’ll be joined by his powerhouse quartet, Malaga—a group of consummate rock virtuosos—for an electrifying second half that fuses classical brilliance with rock, flamenco, and genre-defying energy.
Together, they will debut songs from their forthcoming album (title to be announced), giving audiences a first listen to this bold new chapter in Henderson’s musical journey.
The concert takes place in one of Southern California’s premier listening rooms, enhanced by LBCAC’s new state-of-the-art QSC sound system, generously donated by Pat Quilter, founder of QSC.
