Longtime Laguna Beach residents Gayle and Tom Joliet built upon their years of experience as public-school teachers to write and illustrate Alani & The Giant Kelp Elf. The colorful book is fun, inspiring and educational. The Joliets will share their journey to publication and offer useful tips for would-be authors of children’s books.
