Everything You Need to Know About Hospitality Night

Fa la la la la! Santa is coming to Laguna Beach!

Each year the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City of Laguna Beach co-sponsor one of the biggest street parties of the year, Hospitality Night. Mark your calendar for Friday, December 1 from 5pm-10pm. Festivities will begin with entertainment at the PEPPERTREE PARKING LOT and the arrival of Santa Claus to light the Pepper Tree at 6:10pm. Local merchants, non-profit organizations and the Laguna Beach Chamber will provide myriad activities around the downtown area which will include live musical entertainment, a community sing-along, hot chocolate, tamale sales, and more.

Need to Know
When: Friday, December 1st, 5pm-10pm
Where: Downtown Laguna Beach, Forest Avenue. The festivities will begin at Pepper Tree Lot

The Low Down: 

  • 5pm-6pm: Community Concert Band will play on Beach Street
  • 5:15pm-6pm: Thurston Middle School Band will be playing in Pepper Tree Lot
  • 5:30pm-6pm: Elementary school choirs will perform next to Santa's Hut
  • 5:30pm-8pm: Enjoy arts and crafts and candy canes in the Pepper Tree Lot
  • 6pm-6:10pm: Community sing along in Pepper Tree Lot
  • 6:10pm: Santa Claus will arrive in the Pepper Tree Lot to light the tree
  • 6:45pm-10pm: Enjoy LIVE music on stage at the end of Forest Avenue and business open houses

PARKING:

To accommodate pedestrian traffic in the downtown area, portions of Forest Avenue, Beach Street, 3rd Street and the Pepper Tree parking lot will be closed to vehicular traffic prior to and during the event. Free public parking will be available at the City's Forest/Laguna Canyon (lot #11) and Community/Susi Q Center (lot #13) parking lots. Street closures will begin at 3:30pm.

FREE TROLLEY SERVICE:

The trolley will be running 4:00pm - 11:00pm.
