Everything You Need to Know About Hospitality Night
The night that Laguna Beach comes together to ring in the holiday season in the downtown village.
Each year the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City of Laguna Beach co-sponsor one of the biggest street parties of the year, Hospitality Night. Mark your calendar for Friday, December 7 from 5pm-10pm. Festivities will begin with entertainment at the PEPPERTREE PARKING LOT and the arrival of Santa Claus to light the Christmas Tree at 6:10pm. Local merchants, non-profit organizations and the Laguna Beach Chamber will provide myriad activities around the downtown area which will include live musical entertainment, a community sing-along, hot chocolate, tamale sales, and more.
To accommodate pedestrian traffic in the downtown area, portions of Forest Avenue, Beach Street, 3rd Street and the Peppertree parking lot will be closed to vehicular traffic prior to and during the event. Free public parking will be available at the City's Forest/Laguna Canyon (lot #11), Lumberyard (Lot 12) and Community and Susi Q Center (Lot 13) parking lots. Street closures will begin at 3:30pm.
Blessed with an abundance of inspiration and creative talent, art comes alive in many forms right here in Laguna Beach. In addition to the major summer arts festivals, there is a city-wide art walk on the first Thursday...
Anne-Marie used her degree in Communications to work in the non-profit sector before taking a break to raise her children. In 2010, she returned to the work force as a Social Media Consultant, which allowed her to explore her love of writing and social connection. Currently, she continues to consult as well as write and photograph for several travel, music and pop culture blogs. If you want to find Anne-Marie, she'll be at a local restaurant grubbing on salad and French fries. She currently lives in Newport Beach with her husband and three kids.
