Parking Meters: Daily metered street parking is available and enforced from 8am-7pm (8am-9pm in July and August) at all meters. Credit cards and quarters are accepted at all parking meters. Rates range from $1-$3.75 per hour. Most meters have a 3-hour limit. Please note: if there is a time restriction on a meter, you must move your car to a new spot once you have reached the limit, you may not re-feed that meter.
Disabled Parking: If you have a handicap placard, you may park in an on-street metered parking space without having to pay (for up to 72 hours). However, you must pay to park in a regular, non-handicap space in the city parking lots.
Daily Parking Lots: The daily parking lots are listed below and can be viewed on the map. Free day parking is available from September-late June in the Forest/Laguna Canyon Lot (Lot 11) in spaces numbered 300 and above on the lot's north side.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations: Laguna Beach offers two electric vehicle ChargePoint charging stations in the Forest Avenue parking lot (Lot #11), and two in the Glenneyre Parking Structure (Lot #6). Users simply register with ChargePoint before leaving home. Then, rates are $2/hour to charge a vehicle for up to four hours. Regular parking lot rates also apply. Free Weekend Trolley: The free weekend trolley runs Friday (4pm-11pm), Saturday (11am-11pm) & Sunday (11am-8pm). For information on the free Laguna Beach weekend trolley, click here.
RV Parking: The City's municipal code allows a RV, regardless of size, to be parked on any city streets for a maximum of 5 hours in a 24-hour period. Not limited to just Laguna Canyon Road. If parked at a meter or meters, individual must pay meter(s). The Police Department can issue a RV parking permit, which is free, allows RV to park on any city street for up to 72 hours, and not required to pay meter(s). Items needed for RV parking permit include: Driver's license, description of RV, license plate, and where the RV will be parked. In order to obtain the RV parking permit, individuals must visit the Police Department during normal business hours (8am to 5pm 7 days a week).
