Every February, Laguna Beach Live! and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County host the Laguna Beach Music Festival, bringing outstanding classical and contemporary music to Laguna Beach. The Laguna Beach Music Festival was voted as one of the Top Five Music Festival's in Orange County by Riviera Luxury Magazine in 2015. While most performances take place at The Laguna Playhouse, there are usually several free events during the week at various locations.
The 2018 Laguna Beach Music Festival kicks off with the Festival Prelude, a special evening launching the impending week's showcase of outstanding musical talent. Prelude guests will be entertained by 2018 Festival Artistic Director Nicholas Phan and friends.
Seven Degrees is an award-winning venue framed by the sweeping canyons of Laguna Beach while hosting a distinctive space, both indoors and out, for this delightful evening.

"Diaries: The Art of the Confessional" culminates in a world premiere multimedia event built around Leoš Janácek's powerful Diary of One Who Disappeared, with its exploration of the enduring power of love.
Nicholas Phan and special guests take listeners on a musical road trip through the great American songbook, with a few side excursions into songs influenced by our great musical traditions. The program features everything from Bernstein and Copland to Broadway, Joan Baez, and Lennon and McCartney.
