Whether you have had a long day from work or hitting the beach, we understand that happy hour is necessary. We also understand that you are probably stressing out about where to go, but fear not. Below is a list of top spots for your happy hour festivities. Oh, and did we mention that we even thought about transportation?

Check out the deal we have for you with UBER or Lyft here. So calm down, stop "wine-ing", and just worry about drinking and eating deliciously.

Royal Hawaiian Lapu Lapu

1. Royal Hawaiian (2:30-5:30pm, daily)

With year-round island vibes, dangerously delicious drinks and island-inspired bites, Royal Hawaiian will give you island fever, and you won't want to get better. They provide $3 off their Tropical Libations, $2 off bottled beers, well drinks and house wine, and the 4:28 (4 food items for $28). We say go for their signature drink, the Lapu Lapu, containing four different types of rum combined beautifully with passion fruit, lemon and orange juice for a perfectly tart and smooth cocktail. Did we mention it is served in a tiki mug available for purchase? For the 4:28 special, we would recommend the spicy Ahi Tuna Poké, the light and crispy Shrimp and Scallop Spring Rolls, the fall-off-the-bone tender Baby BBQ Ribs, and the Smoked Salmon Flatbread to soak up the alcohol you won't realize you're drinking on this island*.

Tommy Bahama Mai Tai

2. Tommy Bahama (3:00-6:00pm, Monday-Friday)

More than just a retail store, Tommy Bahama Laguna Beach is light, airy, and the ideal spot to relax all while enjoying quality small plates and half-off well drinks, beer, and wine glasses & bottles. Their signature Mai Tai uses a homemade mix to ensure ideal sweetness and subtlety for a strong and smooth drink. For something suited for the fall, the Grapefruit Basil Martini is smoky and earthy alternative. The Macadamia Nut Crusted Goat Cheese uniquely stands out with its crisp outside, creamy rich inside, and a sweet and tangy mango relish and soy glaze to balance it all out. All the other bites, including the Coconut Shrimp, Cheeseburger Sliders, Ahi Poké Tacos, and Duo Dip of Guacamole and Beer Cheese, are all delicious and ideal for sharing with your squad.

Rooftop Lounge White Sangria and Frose

3. The Rooftop Lounge (3:00-5:00pm, Monday-Friday)

Atop La Casa del Camino hotel, The Rooftop Lounge has stunning panoramic views paired with a killer happy hour offering California style appetizers and half-off mojitos, beer, wine and well drinks. Do not leave without ordering at least one mojito, although we have a feeling you may end up ordering multiple. You will also want to order Frosé (one of the best we've had), before the warm weather wanes. Pair those cocktails with Bacon Wrapped Dates, a dish so popular that when taken off the menu, patrons demanded its return. Thank goodness, they did.

Pro Tip: come for happy hour drinks, watch the sunset, and head downstairs to K'ya for dinner.

k'ya Bistro Bar Aviation

4. K'ya Bistro Bar (4:30-6:30pm, Monday-Friday)

Located in the same hotel as The Rooftop Lounge, you may wonder why both spots are on the list. The Mediterranean-inspired fare and cocktails at K'ya Bistro Bar are so excellent, you may completely forget about those views. The simple happy hour is as follows: $6 Beer, Wine, Mojitos, Martinis, and Well Drinks. While this is great, make the food your focus. When you purchase any alcoholic beverage, receive half off any small plate or tapa. Purchase two cocktails and get half off one of their larger share plates. The menu is extensive, and while we think you cannot go wrong, some standouts are the Hibachi Salmon, Petit Filet Mignon, Blackened Scallops & Risotto, and Seafood Garlic Noodles. This cozy bistro emphasizes ordering a few items to share, but once you taste how great everything is, you may not want to.

Nirvana Grille Mexican Moscow Mule

5. Nirvana Grille (All Night, Every Night in the Bar Area)

Usually there are restrictions and rules for happy hour, but the last spot on this list does away with that. Nirvana Grille not only has one of Visit Laguna's 10 Best Cocktails in Town, but it offers happy hour all night long in the bar area. They offer $6 House Wines, $8 Premium Wines, $9 Signature Cocktails, and excellent Happy Hour food. We especially love the hearty Wild Mushroom Ravioli perfect for the approaching fall season or the Chilean Blue Lip Mussels in a light cream broth, gloriously topped with Paprika Thyme French Fries that soak up the flavorful broth perfectly. We also must mention their house baked bread which is one of the warmest, comforting presents to receive.
