In it’s 13th year, the Laguna Beach Music Festival, is another unique artistic expression of this great art colony. It was founded as a way to blend together classical and contemporary music that appeals to the dedicated fan, the new listener, the artist and the student. The Festival is a collaboration of Laguna Beach Live! and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, who work bringing chamber music, indie-classical and post-genre worlds together for a truly unique musical experience.

For the first time the festival is adding a multi-media performance on Sunday, February 15th. Actor Phil Proctor, known for his voice overs in films such as Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and Finding Nemo, comes together with the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ) to bring the story of Don Quixote to life. With images and lighting, accompanied by LAGQ's brilliant arrangements of music from Spain's Golden Age and flamenco dance this performance makes for an impressive visual and auditory story.
